Making Dioramas of Ancient Greek Battles The 300 at Thermopylae & Alexander the Great Ages 10+ Step into the world of ancient Greece in this hands-on historical craft workshop. Young makers will explore two of the most legendary moments in Greek history: the heroic stand of the 300 Spartans at the Battle of Thermopylae and the extraordinary military campaigns of Alexander the Great. Through storytelling, research, and careful craftsmanship, participants will design and build their own detailed miniature diorama of a key scene from these iconic battles — whether the narrow pass at Thermopylae, the phalanx formation, or one of Alexander’s daring victories. This workshop beautifully weaves together history, classical storytelling, spatial design, and traditional craft.
